About The Position
The MRI Technologist utilizes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body. The role is based at Gwinnett Main and is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. On-call requirements apply.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
- Hold one of the following credentials: Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT), Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT (MR).
- Hold certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in MRI.
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
