About The Position

Lumexa Imaging, a large provider of outpatient medical imaging with over 5,000 team members and 185 imaging centers across 13 states, is opening a new UPMC Touchstone Medical Imaging center in Butler, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. This joint venture between UPMC and Touchstone Medical Imaging aims to provide cost-effective and convenient outpatient diagnostic imaging services. The facility will offer comprehensive medical imaging in one location. We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team.

Requirements

• Current, valid ARRT certification in your modality
• Pennsylvania license is required
• Graduate of approved program for Radiological Technology
• Basic proficiency with computer monitors, keyboard and mouse for scanning, RIS and PACS use
• Organized, detail oriented, observant
• Calm and effective communicator
• Helpful, patient and sympathetic

Responsibilities

• Lifting, moving, positioning and assisting patients on/off examination table
• Walking 25% of shift, standing 50% of shift, sitting 25% of shift
