About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking MRI Technologists to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Personnel must be familiar with all radiographic diagnostic fluoroscopy, surgery procedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routine general diagnostic exams. Multiple shift schedules are available, and any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in national security, health care, and information technology.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
  • ARRT (MR) certification is required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in MRI Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
  • Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience with the GE 1.5T, GE 3.0T, and SIEMENS MAGNETOM SKYRA within the past 24 months is preferred
  • Prior VA experience is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Provides MRI care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
  • Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients
  • Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
  • Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including: Abdomen - Gastrointestinal, Abdomen – Genitourinary, Breast Imaging, Pelvis, Neuroradiology Imaging, Cardiovascular / Extremity, Musculoskeletal
  • Performs related administrative tasks
