Radiology - MRI Tech
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract position offering 40 hours per week. The role includes responsibilities in operating MRI equipment, as well as potential floating to other modalities including X-ray, CT, Mammography, DEXA, and Fluoroscopy as needed. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations will be required, and candidates must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call. This position offers 8-hour day shifts with rotating call responsibilities. Potential shift times include: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, and 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- MRI certification via ARRT is required.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Associate degree in a relevant field.
- MRI experience is mandatory.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in CT and Mammography is preferred.
- TruBridge experience is a plus; willing to train for candidates without.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during the process.
- Float to other imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, Mammography, DEXA, Fluoroscopy) as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with patient positioning and explain procedures to patients.
