About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a Part-Time Flex position at our outpatient imaging center in Brighton, CO. This flexible role also offers opportunities to pick up additional shifts on an as-needed basis, including daytime weekend coverage. Weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential pay. Spectrum Medical Imaging is a full-service imaging center dedicated to providing consistent, quality, state-of-the-art outpatient imaging services, with a deep commitment to customer service and patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT.
• MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers.
• Non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment.
• Meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient imaging center.
• Experience with various MRI sequences and protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain the necessary anatomical views.
• Administer contrast agents as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
