About The Position
The MRI Technologist will perform quality MRI images per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm out of our Eden Prairie location. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
- ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department required.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
- Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices
- Maintain patient files, including internal and external films
- Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies
- Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure
- May include IV contrast administration as needed
- Any and all other duties as assigned
