About The Position

The MRI Technologist Supervisor provides direct supervision of assigned staff, including scheduling, initial performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, orientation and training, and reviewing productivity targets. The supervisor oversees equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs, and provides primary oversight for modality accreditations and Joint Commission requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable state and federal guidelines. In addition to modality-specific tasks assigned by the manager or director, the supervisor participates in routine daily operations and workflow within the modality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT registration and a modality advanced registry.
• At least two years of full-time-equivalent MRI experience.
• Ongoing participation in continuing education.
• Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures.
• Ability to understand computer calculations.
• Ability to use initiative and practice good judgment.
• Considerable skill in motivating and communicating with staff and others.
• Current BLS certification.
