About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist Trainee to learn and perform a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures. This role involves utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients, and a high magnetic field to produce quality studies under supervision. The trainee will apply the profession's code of ethics and maintain knowledge of safety measures. Competency in performing routine MRI exams must be demonstrated within six months of program commencement. This program offers all expenses-paid learning, structured training with third-party resources, and one-on-one work with an assigned trainer. A wage increase is provided upon passing the registry.

Requirements

  • Graduate of 24 month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
  • 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality
  • ARRT certification in Radiology
  • IV credentialed if applicable
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Learn to perform a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures with accuracy.
  • Utilize radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field to produce quality studies under supervision.
  • Apply the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
  • Maintain knowledge of, observe, and enforce the safety measures in Environment of Care.
  • Demonstrate competency performing routine MRI exams within six months of commencement of the MRI training program.
