This position competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. The technologist works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner. They gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is required to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. This role may also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
