About The Position

Corewell Health is offering up to $20,000 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity! This position is a part of the Corewell Health MRI Apprenticeship program. This is position is an every weekend position. About Blodgett Hospital Set within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens. Scope of work Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Must remain in good standing with the NMTCB Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT (N) Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must remain in good standing with the ARDMS Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with the ARRT or ARDMS Upon Hire required
  • And AHA OR ARC (Basic Life Support) required upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Less than 5 years rad tech or similar
