MRI Technician (Radiology)
About The Position
Per Diem Staffing Systems, Inc. is one of California's leading healthcare staffing agencies with over 35 years of experience. We help healthcare professionals find careers in California's finest hospital facilities. This is a 13-week assignment for an experienced MRI Technician, with the possibility of extension. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour rotating shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of MRI experience, specifically with GE equipment. Travel candidates must reside at least 60 miles outside of Palo Alto, CA. The pay range for this contract is $2100 to $2680.00 gross weekly for a 36-hour work week, with local and travel rates varying.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent MRI experience
- Experience working with GE MRI equipment
- Satisfactory completion of a JCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- BLS – Basic Life Support certification
- One of the following certifications: ARMRIT, ARRT, or CRT
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment
- Perform MRI scans
- Ensure patient safety during MRI procedures
