About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team for night shifts. This role involves performing MRI exams on both ambulatory and inpatient populations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, contrast administration protocols, and image quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating MRI equipment, knowledgeable about MRI safety procedures, and possess strong patient care and communication skills, particularly for overnight shifts. You will work independently under radiologist supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS (AHA) certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• One of the following MRI credentials: ARRT (MR), ARRT (R) with MRI competency, or ARMRIT
• Less than 1 year of MRI experience required
• Familiarity with MRI safety standards, contrast administration protocols, and image quality assurance
• Ability to operate MRI equipment and follow established imaging protocols
• Knowledge of MRI safety, including screening and emergency procedures
• Strong patient care and communication skills, especially for overnight shifts
• Ability to work independently during night hours under radiologist supervision
