As an MRI Technologist, you will be a central figure in our diagnostic imaging team, expertly performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans to produce precise images critical for patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Every day, you will meticulously position patients, operate advanced MRI scanning equipment according to physician orders and established protocols, and administer contrast media safely and effectively. You will also provide essential patient education and psychological support, monitor patient conditions closely during scans, maintain meticulous records, and perform daily quality assurance checks on equipment, all while strictly adhering to crucial MRI safety guidelines and regulatory standards. Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained. Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care. Identifies self by name and title to patient/family. Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive. Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified. Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
