About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency services, including interventional cardiology, critical care, obstetrics, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are a Primary Stroke Center with on-site neurohospitalists. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, we proudly provide subspecialized care from fellowship-trained providers in advanced gastroenterology and medical and surgical oncology as well as colorectal, breast, thoracic, orthopedic and robotic surgery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program or an accredited program by the ARMRIT Commission.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- BLS certified.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months as an MRI Technologists.
Responsibilities
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
- MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
- MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
