About The Position

Prepare and position patients, select accurate technical parameters, and perform pre-screening and education to produce high-quality cross-sectional diagnostic images. Enter and monitor patient data, manage image transfers, and ensure the prompt submission of all images and records to PACS with correct markers and history. Strictly follow all established radiation safety procedures and guidelines during patient examinations. Ensure all imaging equipment is functioning properly and report any potential malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel immediately. Maintain a clean and organized department environment, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • 1 -2 years acute care MRI experience
