About The Position

Magnetic resonance imaging technologists use the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomical and/or physiological conditions of the body and assist physicians in diagnosing disease. They perform diagnostic MRI examinations according to prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist and provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration as a Radiographer, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification, required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards and under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
