About The Position

St. Anthony North Hospital has been providing optimal healthcare for over 50 years to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn, and Thornton. Our campus features 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center with private suites, a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, we achieved Magnet designation, a prestigious award given to less than 6 percent of U.S. hospitals. Our approach is built on convenience, wellness, and person-centered care, offering both inpatient and outpatient services at a single location with a focus on preventive health, wellness, and health education. As an MRI Tech, you will provide quality patient care, perform high-quality images and exams while being sensitive to patient needs, adhere to ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI, and serve as a clinical resource and role model for other technologists.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R) and (MR)(ARRT) required
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required from American Heart Association
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
  • Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
  • Follow ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
  • Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.
