About The Position

This part-time MRI Tech position, working 24 hours/week on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 7:30pm with call and holiday rotation, involves operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. The role includes performing basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities, and assisting radiologists and physicians in image interpretation. The MRI Tech is also responsible for positioning patients appropriately on the MRI table and providing instructions for maintaining stillness during the examination to minimize motion artifacts.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
Registered by the ARRT required
Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program can substitute for Associate degree requirement
BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Two years experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred

Responsibilities
