About The Position

We are Looking for: An MRI Tech for our practice provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality and efficient care. In this position, you will perform radiological exams perform technical laboratory tests, and report results timely to providers.

Requirements

Aligns with American College of Radiology Accreditation Standards and recommendations
Completed accredited radiology education program and /or State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist and able to start IVs and administer contrast
ARRT Certification (Required)

Responsibilities

Using proper radiation protection and precautions prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment.
Performs diagnostic MRI imaging procedures to include: injection of Radio-pharmaceutical and/or IV contrast, the administration of oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction and filming of images, network image transfers, and archiving image data.
Possesses basic computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems, Radiology Information Systems, and Office software to maintain patient and exam documents.
Responsible for patient data and films including printing, archiving, retrieval, network data transfers, tracking, and logging of loaned films and requested outside films.
Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action
