Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) also accepted.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonograph (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
  • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.
  • 2 YEARS OF RECENT MRI IMAGING EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly accurate imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
  • Educate and prepare patients for procedures, including pre-screening and clear communication, while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Guarantee patient safety and data integrity by ensuring all images and documents are promptly and accurately submitted to the PACS system.
  • Manage patient records and imaging data, utilizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Maintain peak performance of imaging equipment by conducting regular checks and promptly reporting malfunctions to technical support.
