About The Position
MercyOne is seeking an MRI Tech Coordinator to provide magnetic resonance (MR) imaging services coordination. This role involves offering individualized assistance and exam planning to both patients and clinical staff to adhere to the unique safety conditions and requirements of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. The coordinator will independently perform magnetic resonance (MR) exams and procedures under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner, and will coordinate the daily operations of the MR department(s).
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited 2 year Imaging Technology program
- ARRT or ARMRIT certified MR credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) required
- 3-5 minimum years of MR experience
- Maintains active registry status
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire
- Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
