About The Position

The MRI Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting MRI technologists in providing imaging procedures performed on patients in the MRI department in accordance with physicians' orders and the policies and procedures established by the hospital and other governing bodies. This role is full-time, working weekends from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, with on-call duties from 11:30 AM to 7:00 AM. The position is located at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.
1 year of experience in healthcare and/or medical setting is required.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or actively enrolled in a radiologic technology or related clinical program is preferred.
