About The Position

The CORE Institute is seeking a dedicated MRI Tech Aide to join their team. This full-time position focuses on patient care, safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient MRI environment. The role involves patient interaction, assisting with procedures, administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Tech.
• 2 years medical assistant or imaging assistant experience.
• Must be able to safely enter and work in MRI Zones III and IV in accordance with MRI safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of human anatomy.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong attention-to-detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift and position patients for the type of MRI procedure required.
• Ability to keep and maintain records.

Nice To Haves

• Radiographer certification preferred.
• IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes and signs necessary forms and explains the procedure to the patient.
• Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the coach and the exam.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education.
• Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
• May assist with the setup and tear down of equipment following SMS and/or manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
• Completes all necessary administrative tasks.
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Complies with all safety policies and regulations.
• Performs additional duties as required.
