About The Position

The MRI Protocoling Specialist serves as an enterprise clinical resource for MRI protocol assignment, imaging appropriateness review and MRI safety screening across the organization. We are seeking an MRI Protocoling Specialist to: Review MRI orders for completeness, clinical appropriateness, and alignment with established imaging guidelines. Collaborate with radiologists to resolve complex protocoling questions and determine imaging strategies. Communicate protocol recommendations with ordering providers, schedulers, MRI technologists and radiologists. Assist in protocol optimization initiatives to improve image quality, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology or ARMRIT Pathway
• 3 years experience in an advanced modality protocoling, safety screening, reviewing implant/device compatibility.
• ARRT (R) certification Upon Hire
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MRI) certification within 12 months

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in a healthcare field.
• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field.
