MRI Board Member
About The Position
The Moredun Research Institute (MRI) is seeking to appoint up to four new Non-Executive Directors/Trustees to join its Board. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in corporate governance and strategic leadership, and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Finance, audit and risk management, Commercial leadership, Scientific research, Livestock farming or veterinary practice, Government and policy development, Representation of the agricultural, research, scientific or policy communities. Applicants should have a strong track record of leadership and a sound understanding of corporate governance. As members of the Board, successful candidates will contribute strategic oversight, constructive challenge and independent judgement, while demonstrating a commitment to the work and mission of the Institute.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate governance and strategic leadership.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Finance, audit and risk management, Commercial leadership, Scientific research, Livestock farming or veterinary practice, Government and policy development, Representation of the agricultural, research, scientific or policy communities.
