Requirements
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Experience balancing prioritization, cost, and schedule constraints within a proposal effort.
- EVMS Certification and/or relevant experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) on an EV program.
- Leadership experience in international subcontracts management, IPT organizational structure and/or an IPL (Integrated Program Leadership) construct.
- Expert knowledge/experience in both FMS and DCS Proposal Leadership (e.g., TINA compliance, Offset/Industrial Participation, Government Requests for Information (RFIs), etc.)
- Experience working on risk/opportunity management, earned value planning/tracking/reporting and metrics management.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Program Management Level 4 Certification
- 5+ years of International Program Management/IPT Leadership experience
- Experience in production environment for entire Product Life Cycle from material release through contract sale
- Direct experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule
- Experience with and understanding of export and import controls, compliance, and licensing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment with time critical requirements.
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in communicating the vision, strategic direction, battle rhythm, rules of engagement, and expectations across both program and functional organizations supporting SMGBAD
- Standardize and implement best practices, tools, and cadence across SMGBAD, to include business briefings at both SMGBAD and LADS level
- Serve as a subject matter expert in transition-to-production efforts, risk management, gate reviews, product affordability, proposal development, and contract negotiations
- Step in as a delegate for VP, SMGBAD as necessary, in key internal and external discussions, creating collaboration across both program and function teams to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders
