About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate assigned scanners and produce images for diagnostic purposes. The technologist provides MRI services in accordance with professional standards and delivers excellent, patient-centered customer service, guiding patients through procedures and addressing their questions and concerns. This is a full-time position working four shifts per week: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay range is $38.58–$56.00, based on direct and relevant experience. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Current ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing, depending on state regulations and business needs.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of radiography.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
Certification in an imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

Screen patients before exams for precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to confirm the correct patient and procedure.
Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, including positioning them appropriately.
Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision and provide patient support throughout the procedure.
Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed.
Follow physicians’ orders and safety regulations, and accurately maintain patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Keep the work area and equipment orderly and clean, promoting safety for patients and coworkers.
Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
Assist with updating the imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
Assist with training new associates by providing resources and technical expertise, as applicable.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
