About The Position

AFO is looking for a MQ-9 Acquisition & Sustainment Support Professional to work at Langley AFB, VA. This role involves providing technical and analytical support to the HQ ACC/A5IQ in the development and integration of requirements into existing MQ-1/MQ-9, and/or planned RPA. The position also assists in planning documents and activities, evaluating operational capabilities, and supporting Program Objective Memorandum activities. The professional will create and maintain spreadsheets and databases, and advise ACC/A5IQ on various operational, logistics, and technical issues.

Requirements

Must possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Must have a bachelor’s degree.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of MAJCOM or higher staff experience.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of USAF MAJCOM or higher-level staff experience in operations, staff or working MQ-1/MQ-9 programs.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal Budget and Resource Allocation process and procedures in support of the A5I mission area.
Must be familiar with CAM sustainment funding and processes.
Must be familiar w/developing JCIDS and QRC documents and processes.

Responsibilities

Providing technical and analytical support to the HQ ACC/A5IQ in the development and integration of requirements into existing MQ-1/MQ-9, and/or planned RPA.
Assisting in planning documents and activities to include, but not limited to O&M, various acquisition activities, requirements development and developmental planning.
Providing technical and analytical assistance including evaluating operational capabilities and addressing operational needs, especially as pertains to logistics and supply chain.
Providing development, analysis, and process assistance in all Program Objective Memorandum and Amended Program Objective Memorandum activities.
Assisting in the development, validation, and coordination of varied requirements documents.
Assisting in investment strategy planning.
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.
Advise ACC/A5IQ on operational, logistics (especially supply chain), and technical issues, transition strategy, project schedules, program plans, and other time-sensitive documents.
