About The Position

The MPD Technical Solutions Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation of Beyond’s innovative MPD solutions, working closely with internal departments and clients through technical support for current or potential projects, and championing the company’s technology and service/products offering throughout the industry. This role bridges technical expertise, project management, and client engagement to ensure successful planning and implementation of MPD products/services. This role will play an essential part in our sales department reporting to the Director of Sales in The Woodlands, TX

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of MPD applications within the Oil & Gas industry
  • 5+ years of direct technical sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry related to drilling
  • Post-secondary education in a technical discipline preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of the MPD industry
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for working closely with the Sales, Operations, and Engineering departments to advise on and implement technical solutions to enhance the client experience and exceed client expectations
  • Champion company technology/products/services throughout the region through networking, seminars and industry tradeshows/events
  • Deliver technical presentations to existing and potential clients and industry panels
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services throughout the industry using sound technical solutions to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Responsible for discussing technical aspects of proposals with client and gaining client feedback
  • Work to continuously improve processes and service offerings
  • Understand the core needs of each client type and build an effective technical solutions
