About The Position

Conduit Power is on a path to supplement our Nation’s power generation system with reliable and dispatchable generation in ways that reduces carbon footprint and accelerates the transition to clean, renewable energy. We are seeking a technically grounded Senior Manager, Technical Solutions to lead complex, solution-oriented sales efforts for engineered power and energy systems. This role is ideal for candidates with an engineering foundation and field or design experience who have transitioned into technical sales or commercial leadership. This individual will drive revenue growth by developing and closing technically sophisticated opportunities while ensuring commercial and technical alignment from initial engagement through project execution. Successful candidates typically bring 5–7+ years of engineering or field application experience, combined with technical sales or commercial leadership exposure within an OEM or engineered equipment environment supporting power generation, gas compression, e-fracturing fleets, midstream infrastructure, or industrial energy systems. This position requires the ability to engage credibly with customer engineering teams, influence executive-level decisions, and lead commercial execution to ensure commercially sound, technically viable, and profit-optimized outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline required. MBA or advanced business training is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 7–10+ years combined experience in technical sales, applications engineering, project engineering, or commercial roles supporting engineered systems with a minimum of 5 years in an Engineering role.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing complex, high-value engineered solution deals and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
  • Experience leading technically sophisticated proposals involving customization or integration.
  • Ability to interpret and validate technical documentation such as P&IDs, single-line diagrams, performance curves, and equipment datasheets.
  • Strong commercial acumen (contract terms, margin management, risk allocation).
  • Experience serving in a commercial project leadership capacity post-award.
  • Familiarity with EPC, industrial, energy, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both executive decision-makers and technical engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end technical sales process for engineered power generation and energy infrastructure solutions.
  • Engage customer engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to define requirements, clarify specifications, and resolve technical uncertainties.
  • Develop system concepts and technical narratives that communicate reliability, efficiency, lifecycle cost advantages, and emissions performance.
  • Conduct site evaluations and technical due diligence to validate solution viability and deployment considerations.
  • Translate complex engineering considerations into clear commercial value drivers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to equipment performance, integration, fuel supply, electrical interconnection, and site conditions.
  • Validate technical assumptions including load duty cycles, redundancy, emissions limits, and operational reliability.
  • Lead technical proposal development including scope definition, equipment configuration, performance criteria, and compliance matrices.
  • Coordinate with OEM partners and internal engineering teams to obtain performance data, budgetary designs, and technical inputs.
  • Support pricing strategies aligned with equipment configuration, performance guarantees, and execution risk profile.
  • Participate in technical and commercial negotiations to ensure scope clarity, achievable performance guarantees, and appropriate risk allocation.
  • Serve as technical-commercial lead post-award to ensure alignment between contractual commitments and engineering deliverables.
  • Facilitate resolution of technical-commercial issues, scope clarifications, and change management during execution.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and packagers to validate performance expectations, integration requirements, and technical interfaces.
  • Act as primary liaison between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and OEM partners throughout solution development and delivery.
  • Contribute to development of technical standards, scalable solution architectures, and lifecycle performance improvements.
  • Mentor engineers and sales professionals on technical-commercial integration, risk identification, and solution development best practices.
