About The Position
This is a great entry-level opportunity with the City of Lebanon. This seasonal position will not exceed 6 months. Seasonal employees are permitted to apply for regular, full-time positions within the City of Lebanon during their seasonal employment, provided they meet the position qualifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 8th Grade education.
- Valid TN driver’s license and a clear driving record are strongly desired.
- Ability to obtain a Tennessee Driver's License within 30 to 60 days from hire.
- Must be capable of performing laborious tasks over extended periods of time.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in grounds and landscaping, maintenance, painting, and general carpentry.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, weed eating, and grounds keeping.
- Litter pick up duties.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the crew leader and clients.
- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles.
- Drives work vehicles to and from sites.
- Adheres to all safety precautions.
