Requirements

Ability to pass a background check and MVR check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
At least 1+ year of background and formal experience in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, pesticide application
Ability to lift to 80 pounds on a routine basis
Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time
Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks.
Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
Must have good communication skills and the ability to motivate others
Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Report to the field supervisor
Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds, & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
Mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
Concrete work, mixing bags of concrete by hand, mixing buckets of grout
Stabilization includes carrying and rolling out erosion control matting, spreading seed and wheat straw by hand
Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
Perform work in waders and muck boots
Collection of company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day.
May be asked to help in other divisions such as inspection repair as needed.
Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment: Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac Edgers, string trimmers, and chain saws Backpack blowers and sprayers Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, tree chipper, and pruning tools.
