About The Position
Leapfrog Landcare is hiring a Mowing Crew Lead to help us deliver top-tier lawn care and mowing services. You will take charge of daily mowing and grounds-maintenance tasks, supervise a crew member, and ensure our customers’ properties look their best. Our ideal candidate is a proactive leader who values professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality service.
Requirements
- 1+ year of outdoor labor experience required; mowing or grounds-maintenance experience preferred.
- Crew leadership experience or the ability to direct and support a helper.
- Equipment familiarity with push mowers, trimmers, blowers, and similar tools.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site or meeting location.
- Outdoor readiness - ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Physical capability - able to lift 35–80 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic - attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crew members during mowing and grounds-maintenance tasks.
- Perform mowing services including mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, and aeration.
- Grounds upkeep such as weed control, pruning, mulch or pine straw installation, and leaf removal.
- Use and maintain lawn equipment including push mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Quality control - ensure each property is left clean, neat, and professionally finished.
