About The Position

U-Haul is looking for a responsible, motivated, and conscientious person to join their team and learn to manage one of our moving and storage centers. As a trainee manager, you will learn how to make our rental facilities profitable and efficient by monitoring inventory and managing equipment. You will resolve problems as they arise. Managing a U-Haul moving and storage center is a diverse, dynamic, and rewarding job.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of management experience in retail or other service sectors with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Computer expertise.
• Organizational expertise.
• High-volume retail management skills with responsibility for profit and loss accounts.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the equipment fleet to provide clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Track and inventory stock.
• Ensure customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Verify gas receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a safe environment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul training through U-Haul University.
