Mover - Driver - Lugger - SAT ONLY
About The Position
"Luggers" are the important front-line folks of our business. This role is for individuals who desire to help others while also saving the environment and are passionate about GREEN practices. The position involves working in a team in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers, partners, and teammates. Successful candidates will execute established processes and potentially mentor new team members. The Junkluggers is a company focused on donating and recycling unwanted items to benefit the community and environment, offering a caring alternative to traditional junk removal. This role requires exceptional customer service, empathy, and the ability to connect with customers during various life events such as downsizing or dealing with loss. It is a hands-on role that involves hard work, teamwork, and a fun team environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, highly motivated, organized, customer-centric, goal-oriented, and physically fit with the ability to lift substantial weight. Experience driving a small truck and moving heavy items is a plus. A commitment to environmental responsibility and the ability to recognize item value are important. This is a field-based position with some basic administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Be reliable and show up for your scheduled shifts!
- Own a working smartphone
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Repeatedly lift 50-100 pounds
- Provide safety toe footwear and black work pants/shorts
- Be a minimum of 24 years old to drive our trucks (for insurance purposes)
- Valid Driver's License is a MUST!
- Good driving record, no moving violations in last 3 years
- Physically fit and able to lift substantial weight
- Friendly, highly motivated, and able to communicate effectively
- Energetic, well-organized, customer-centric problem solver and goal-oriented team player
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving a small truck
- Experience moving furniture / heavy items
- CDL NOT Required

- Remove items from homes and businesses, which may require some bagging, heavy lifting, and some demolition work
