Movement Disorders Neurologist – Austin, TX | DBS + Research
About The Position
An established outpatient neurology and clinical research program in Round Rock, Texas just outside of Austin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Movement Disorders Neurologist to join a growing subspecialty movement disorders program. This opportunity offers immediate access to a substantial referral base and established patient waitlist, along with advanced procedural infrastructure, active industry-sponsored clinical trials, and collaboration with an established movement disorders researcher with extensive sponsor relationships and regional recognition. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in Movement Disorders or a strong clinical background and sustained interest in movement disorders care. This role is intentionally structured around movement disorders medicine with the opportunity to participate in meaningful clinical research within an established operational infrastructure.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of accredited Neurology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
- Fellowship training in Movement Disorders or demonstrated clinical interest and experience
- Experience or interest in industry-led clinical research participation

- Flexibility to incorporate selected general neurology interests based on physician background and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonian syndromes, essential tremor, dystonia, and dyskinesias.
- Advanced movement disorders management.
- DBS programming.
- Botulinum toxin procedures.
- Movement disorders consultative care.
- Participation in movement disorders and related neurologic clinical research.
- Opportunities to participate as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I).
