About The Position

Managed Facility Solutions (MFS) is seeking an experienced Move Supervisor to lead commercial moving crews and ensure the successful execution of office relocations, furniture moves, and facility support projects throughout the Austin area. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising crews of 5-15 movers, directing day-to-day move activities, maintaining customer satisfaction, minimizing damages and claims, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the moving industry.
  • Previous experience leading crews or supervising moving personnel.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 26-foot box truck in the United States.
  • Ability to pass background screening and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial office moves, decommissioning, warehouse operations, or furniture installation is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise crews of 5-15 movers on commercial moving projects.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for customers and project stakeholders.
  • Direct move activities including loading, unloading, packing, office relocations, and furniture moves.
  • Ensure moves are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Monitor crew productivity, attendance, workmanship, and professionalism.
  • Minimize damages, customer claims, and safety incidents through proper planning and supervision.
  • Train and mentor moving personnel on best practices and safety procedures.
  • Complete required job documentation, timesheets, and move reports.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Operate company vehicles, including a 26-foot box truck, as required.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
