About The Position

The Move In Coordinator serves as the primary contact for future residents, managing all aspects of their move-in process. This role involves coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition for new residents. The position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to adapt to business needs, including potential evening, weekend, and holiday work. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining marketing collateral and ensuring the office environment is presentable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred)
  • Two years’ experience in marketing/sales
  • One-year experience in senior housing or healthcare-related field
  • Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to utilize computer software system to track activities and other pertinent information
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Must possess current and valid driver’s license consistent with the requirements determined by size of vehicle and laws of the state in which the driver is licensed
  • Must possess personal driving record consistent with the requirements of the Driver Selection Policy
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community

Nice To Haves

  • One-year experience in hospitality preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with internal stakeholders (community leadership, other departments) and vendors regarding construction/physical plant changes.
  • Prepares closing documentation and internal communication accurately and timely.
  • Serves as the primary contact with future residents regarding move-in dates and details.
  • Develops and updates the community move-in guide.
  • Staffs the office to meet business needs, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participates in marketing events as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Supports tour operations, ensuring a warm and personalized experience.
  • Updates the community move-in resource guide.
  • Oversees inventory and timely ordering of marketing collateral.
  • Maintains personal work areas in a presentable manner.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Coordinates resident move changes.
