About The Position

As a Mounting Technician, you will create high-quality mounted artwork by preparing printed images, making adhesive-backed stickers, and mounting artwork to wood panels. This hands-on role is a key part of our production process and requires attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to quality. Hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is for our factory location at 6175 Longbow Drive, Boulder, CO 80301.

Requirements

• No prior mounting or manufacturing experience required. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks
• Comfortable working with hand tools, production equipment, and materials
• Ability to stand and move throughout the workday in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift and move production materials and finished products as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, as this role requires consistent in-person presence at our Boulder factory
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Sizing and trimming printed images to exact specifications while maintaining quality standards
• Creating adhesive-backed "stickers" by applying trimmed images to double-sided adhesive material and using hand rollers to remove trapped air bubbles
• Running adhesive-backed images through heated rollers to ensure proper bonding and adhesion
• Cutting 3-ply plywood panels to precise dimensions using production equipment
• Mounting finished images to wood panels and removing air bubbles to ensure a smooth, professional finish
• Operating heat press and other production equipment safely and effectively
• Transporting completed racks of mounted panels to the next stage of production
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift
• Meeting daily production and quality benchmarks while maintaining attention to detail
