About The Position

Jay Hatfield Motorsports is seeking a skilled Motorsports Setup Tech to join our team in Joplin, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for building, setting up, and optimizing ATV and UTV vehicles to meet performance specifications. This position focuses on the preparation and mechanical assembly of off-road vehicles rather than racing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for motorsports technology.

Requirements

• Experience working with motorsports vehicles, preferably ATV, UTV, or similar off-road vehicles.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently during assembly and setup processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and build-related issues efficiently.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, set up, and adjust ATV and UTV vehicles to meet performance and build specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance during vehicle assembly.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to ensure vehicles are built to precise standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient vehicle assembly and setup.
• Assist with organizing parts, tools, and equipment needed for vehicle builds.
