About The Position

The MSF Rider Coach is responsible for participant learning in the classroom and on the training range for the basic rider and the experienced rider course in accordance with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) standards. Responsibilities include classroom and range instruction, supervision of a range aide, and assuring safety standards are maintained. Instructors must maintain required certifications.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement and a satisfactory driving record
  • Must currently hold a valid MSF Rider Coach certification in the State of Kansas
  • Agree to abide by the MSF’s Rider Coach Rules of Professional Conduct, which includes wearing protective gear in route to/from and during class (if riding a school or personal motorcycle)
  • Must be in good health and physically fit
  • Must be able to work with a co-facilitator
  • Above-average communication skills
