About The Position

Red Arrow is seeking a full-time Motorcoach Operator for their Gatineau location. This role involves driving motorcoaches across Ontario and Quebec, ensuring professional and safe operation, conducting daily vehicle inspections, adhering to assigned routes and schedules, and providing exceptional customer service. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining electronic logbooks and following company procedures for safety, training, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid Class BZ or CZ license (Ontario) or Class 2F/1 (Québec)
• Minimum age requirement: 25 years (due to insurance and licensing regulations)
• Clear driver’s abstract and CVOR
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs to shoulder height
• A friendly customer service attitude
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with previous customer service experience
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Fit to handle the demands of the job, including assisting passengers and managing luggage.
• Able to work effectively on your own and manage your time efficiently.
• Employment is contingent upon receiving a favorable background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening

Nice To Haves

• Motorcoach driving experience (important asset)
• Bilingualism in French and English (important asset)
• Previous Transit Experience
• Previous charter and/or tour experience
• Communications skills in french

Responsibilities

• Drive motorcoaches across the beautiful landscapes of Ontario & Quebec.
• Operate motorcoaches professionally, always adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to ensure top performance.
• Stick to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient travel for all.
• Offer outstanding customer service, assisting with baggage, and answering questions with a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and essential documentation with care.
• Consistently follow company procedures for safety, training, and vehicle maintenance.
