About The Position

Our Auburn Pump and Motor Repair Shop is looking for a skilled Motor Winder to join the team. The Motor Winder’s main responsibility is to assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors both in the shop and in the field. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Requirements

• Experience specifically in winding AC/DC electric motor stators.
• Familiar with various hand tools.
• Familiar with power tools such as impact guns, cut off wheels, and drills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move more than 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and maintain electric motors.
• Test and rewind electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors.
• Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure.
• Provide information on parts/work required.
• Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment.
• Observe and adhere to Power-Flo Technologies safety procedures.
• Maintain Power-Flo Technologies quality standards.
