Motor Vehicle Operator, FT - Fresh Start (Warner Robins, GA)
About The Position
Under close to general supervision, this position transports passengers and/or mail and materials to assigned geographical areas. The Motor Vehicle Operator ensures the safety of the vehicle and passengers. Responsibilities may include performing and/or assisting with routine maintenance of vehicles. The role requires reporting all accidents, incidents, and/or breakdowns involving the vehicle while in use, and completing and submitting appropriate documentation. A consistent, high-quality customer-focused orientation is expected when conducting business and providing services. The position also requires completing and/or attending all mandated In-service education in a timely manner and assisting with minor office duties. This position is located in Warner Robins, GA, and will provide service to Houston, Peach, and Crawford counties. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.
Requirements
- Valid unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or behavioral needs
- Basic computer knowledge
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with providing transportation for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders on a (15) passenger van.
