About The Position

Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motion Designer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion design work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.
• Excellent understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 3D animation and rendering.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and create compelling motion graphics for various platforms, including web, social media, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate concepts into engaging visual narratives.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all motion graphics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest motion design trends and technologies.
• Optimize motion graphics for performance and delivery across different channels.
