About The Position

Iris is seeking a Motion Design Intern for its Q4 2026 Internship Program. The intern will work alongside motion designers, designers, and creatives to develop moving visuals for client briefs and multimedia campaigns. The role offers exposure to day-to-day agency life and opportunities to collaborate on work for world-class clients.

Interns work alongside the team, attend meetings, and contribute to client work in close collaboration with their manager and colleagues. They will also have the opportunity to present to leaders at the end of the internship. The internship lasts 8 weeks and requires working in Iris’s Atlanta office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday, as part of a hybrid schedule. Compensation is $18 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; Iris is not sponsoring or assisting with work authorization.

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating an understanding of craft and interest in continuing to learn how to execute ideas and elevate motion craft across platforms.
• Pursuing or graduated with a degree in motion design, art, graphic design, or another relevant field.
• Pursuing a career in an advertising or marketing agency, design studio, internal marketing department, or another relevant business.
• Experience or basic knowledge in some or all of editing, motion design, and animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Self-motivated and decisive, and comfortable diving into the deep end.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Blender and/or Cinema 4D.
