Mosquito Control Technician
About The Position
The Mosquito Control Technician is responsible for delivering professional outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial clients. You’ll work independently to inspect properties, treat pest breeding sites, and apply control products to achieve effective reduction of mosquitoes and other pests. In addition to mosquito control, you will also be trained to perform: Pest Control, Rodent Control, Flea Control, Deer Control, Tick Prevention, and Special Event Services. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
- Hardworking, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pass state pest control licensing exam (training and exam costs covered)
Nice To Haves
- Pest control license preferred but not required
- No prior experience necessary—training provided
Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized vehicle and equipment
- Survey customer properties for pest breeding areas
- Apply larvicide to standing water as needed
- Treat surrounding foliage using a motorized backpack sprayer
- Provide recommendations on services and products to customers
- Perform pest control services as listed above
