The MOS Implementation Leader is a Leadership Level 6 (LL6) site-based role responsible for driving full deployment and sustainment of the Global Maintenance Operating System (GMOS) across an entire assembly plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This role owns MOS implementation across all five business units on site (Body Construction, Paint, General Assembly, Stamping, and Powertrain/Chassis, or the equivalent site-specific unit structure), ensuring one consistent maintenance strategy, one Maximo standard, and one reliability culture across the entire facility. This role is the single point of accountability for translating enterprise GMOS strategy into daily execution on the plant floor — aligning critical spare parts management, Maximo utilization, PM plan optimization, predictive maintenance deployment, and AI-enabled reliability tools into a unified site roadmap. The MOS Implementation Leader also owns the training and capability plan for both salaried reliability engineers and hourly skilled trades, ensuring the workforce has the skills required to sustain the transformation long after initial deployment.
