About The Position

Requirements

• Active CHUMS ID (FHA DE) is required.
• 5+ years of recent (frontline) mortgage underwriting experience in the residential mortgage space.
• Mastery of AUS systems (DU/LPA) and proficiency in Encompass LOS.
• High autonomy to thrive in a 100 remote environment, backed by a highly collaborative virtual team.

Nice To Haves

• Active VA SAR/LAPP ID

Responsibilities

• Primarily decision FHA and Conforming loans, with the opportunity to handle VA, USDA, and Bond/Grant programs.
• Act as the strategic, go-to resource for Loan Officers and Processors to help structure complex files.
• Maintain "zero-defect" quality standards while enjoying lightning-fast turn times backed by automated workflows.
