About The Position

Role: Provide servicing for all aspects of mortgage lending including ACH requests, payoff requests, processing mortgage payoffs (including wire payoffs), insurance claims, updating homeowners insurance, paying taxes and insurance, verification of partial mortgage releases of property. Assist with quality control pre-close and post-close reviews. Specialized areas will include: Insurance, Taxes, and FICS (Financial Industry Computer Systems).

Requirements

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• (1) Associate's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
• Must have good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Process all mortgage servicing requests including payments, payoffs, insurance claims, insurance updates, payment of taxes and insurance, and deed of release
• Assist members with all servicing related questions, both in person and by responding to phone call and voicemail requests.
• Assist with annual payment of taxes and insurance on all escrowed mortgage loans.
• Complete and submit daily reports.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, services and procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
